I can’t remember how I heard of Saul Williams for the first time though I suspect it was through is association with Trent Reznor and Dresden Dolls.
I do remember hearing this eponymous album and it being one of those experiences where my expectations of music shifted. Poetic and impactful in a way that I haven’t found pretty much anywhere else, he’s a unique voice doing interesting, thought provoking things.
I want to show you what the stars are made of.
